Vision From
the Heart
We can occasionally bring specific animals for educational presentations.
For example we recently brought Prickleball the hedgehog to  kindergarten classes to
reinforce their skills after reading Jan Brett books featuring hedgehogs. The kids were very
excited to see and touch a real live hedgehog!
Contact us for details!

Critter Camp is open by appointment only for the safety and well-being of the rescued animals,
however we are now offering
Private Tours for individuals and small groups in exchange for a
donation. Scheduling is flexible.
It generally takes at least an hour to meet all of the animals here.
Critter Camp is centrally located between Rockford and Freeport as well as between Chicago and
Galena, only a few miles off of Route 20.
Bring your animal lover here for a Private Tour on your way to or from your weekend get-away in
Galena!
Please contact us  for details!  See the MAP of our location

Tours are available 7 days/eve.s a week, year round, by appointment only, for up to 6 people at a

*P.S. Mom's & Dad's - don't worry about your child wanting to take an animal home- we do not
adopt the rescues out
! Only occasionally when we take in a litter of hamsters or gerbils for example
